Hot Milk Cake

Mum's Birthday Cake, my version of hot milk cake

Lunch of Mediterranean rice from Birds Eye, plus some lettuce alongside

Garlic bread, yes burned garlic bread but still amazing

 Macaroni cheese

American Chocolate

Tried out some American chocolate, first the classic Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, I had high hopes for this but was greatly disappointed, the peanut butter didn't come through very strong, the shape and look is very original and the chocolate covering was good but being a peanut butter lover I felt it lacked just that.

Next up was Butter finger, I wasn't sure what to expect, well except for peanut, all I can say was that it was incredible.  flaky and slightly crisp, the chocolate was a nice addition so it wasn't all peanut and yes their was a strong peanut flavor and very natural.

Oatmeal Raisin Cookie Monster

Sainsbury's cookies are my favorite, the texture and flavors are perfect as well as decent calories (finally they've added it to their packets) and ingredients, I've tried the double chocolate before so went for the oatmeal and raisin.

The size of the cookies were just right and they weren't too thick, it was chewy and soft, the flavor of the cinnamon was exactly right and it wasn't dry instead slightly buttery which made it even more indulgent.

Sweet Sweet Toffee

Made some macaroni cheese for lunch, accompanied with lettuce

My all time favorite options hot chocolate flavor, TOFFEE!, has a incredible sweet caramel flavor, I hope they make this flavor available in a jar soon.

Cuppa Porridge!

I love porridge, especially golden syrup flavor so when I saw this in Tesco, I knew I had to try it. Its a new product but the Quaker company called Cuppa Porridge, basically the idea of porridge plus dried milk in a sachet which you can easily pour in a mug, add hot water and enjoy. I believe its similar to their pots so kinda a inbetween of their oat so simple sachets and pots.

Since I was making this at home I decided to stick with a bowl, the consistency was smooth almost Ready Brek like, also creamy due to the milk and had a lovely sweet syrup flavour. Next time I'll warm it up and see what the result are

Orange anyone?

After reading a review on the awesome taste of galaxy bubbles I finally found a random sachet lying around in my local shop so I didn't think twice about grabbing it.

After the disappointment of options orange hot chocolate, I was apprehensive about the orange flavour but it was amazing, the top was foamy and light, the chocolate wasn't too overly sweet and the orange came through without being too strong, maybe due to the frothy bubbly texture of the drink. Would definitely buy again and also try the original flavour.

Salt and Pepper

Tiger bread with fish lettuce and salsa. The bread was Sea salt and pepper tiger bread from Morrisons, strong flavor good with foods that go well with salt such as chips. Also tried Young's Fish Fillet bites, decent calories and ingredients, around 33 calories for one and good size, the flavor was sea salt and cracked black pepper. A nice crispy outer shell and fish inside wasn't mushy or watery, went well with lettuce.

Salad and Cheese and tomato sub extra crispy cheese.
Had to keep dessert light so had Options Chocolate Orange hot chocolate, it looked amazing and smelt good, but I didn't enjoy the orange flavoring, too strong and not natural for me but it was sweet so drank it anyways, not one of my favorites but had to have a try, The vanilla is my favorite but hard to find and toffee.
